International Women’s Day 2022 – Women in STEM

The 8th of March marks the United Nation’s International Women’s Day, a day which is dedicated to celebrating women’s achievements through increasing their visibility (both past and present) whilst also calling out against gender-based inequality which to this day still persists.






Vamsi Visions

We first discovered Vamsi Poongundran when his parents contacted us to tell us about Vamsi’s passions for STEM and creating engaging content not only for his own personal development but for his peers too. They told us how Vamsi was interested in our fantastic Polydron Bridges and Engineering Sets for an upcoming video.



I am inspired to share my thoughts, on one of the latest educational directions, that is becoming quite popular not only in UK schools but in many areas worldwide as well. I should say that my qualifications here are very limited. I am a keen observer, a parent and businessman, which all amounts to just your average layman. I don't have any science behind my views and the last thing I want to do is to offend any sensitivity any more suitably qualified person might possess, but for the record, here are my thoughts on STEM.
