Polydron & The Environment

We would like to give you an update about the changes that we at Polydron are making, to play our part in helping to save our planet and how we are constantly striving to be greener.
We have been proactive in our product packaging and have strived to protect the world and environment in which we live. There is a strong drive at Polydron to actively work towards eliminating all single-use plastics in our packaging. We are also making the switch from plastic buckets and trays to uncoated recyclable cardboard boxes where possible.
Did you know that all of our products are BPA and Phthalate free?
All of our products are manufactured from high quality, durable materials and are BPA and Phthalate free.
All waste plastic that is generated at source is recycled and put back into the manufacturing process to ensure that there is no unnecessary waste.
Most of our products are 100% Recyclable
Look out for this logo in our catalogue and on our packaging to find products that are 100% recyclable.
During the design and manufacturing process we avoid composite materials, making most of our products 100% recyclable.
All of our recyclable products are manufactured with a recycling mark.
We are ISO 14001 certified!
During the accreditation process, we as a company changed our views on the environment and how we can reduce our impact and carbon footprint.
Where we have made a switch to a more sustainable cardboard packaging, this has enabled us to reduce our shipping and storage volume which in turn reduces our carbon footprint.
Our offices and warehouses have become more environmentally friendly by reducing paper usage, switching off all electronics when they are not being used and switching off lights in rooms that aren't occupied.
Our warehouse also creates its own packaging material using our onsite shredder, by recycling our own cardboard waste and re-using it to protect our products during shipment, we cut down our overall waste and reduce the amount of excess packaging material being shipped.
The changes we have made won't solve all of the problems the world faces collectively, but making changes where possible doesn't only help us and the environment, it helps our customers too.
